Entry Requirements
Applicants should normally:
- A bachelor’s degree or an equivalent qualification
- A Level 6 qualification in information technology, computing, cybersecurity or a related discipline, or
- Relevant professional or managerial experience in information technology, information security or a related field
Applicants must possess sufficient English-language proficiency to undertake postgraduate-level study.
Progression
Successful graduates may progress to a master’s degree or master’s top-up programme in Cyber Security, Information Security, Computer Science or a related discipline, subject to university admission requirements. They may also pursue senior roles in cybersecurity, information assurance, governance, risk and compliance, including Cybersecurity Manager, Information Security Consultant, Security Analyst, Cyber-Risk Manager or Incident Response Specialist, or relevant professional cybersecurity certifications.
